One of my favourite parts about doing wedding photos is when the couple chooses to do a sweetheart golden hour or sunset shoot. This doesn't have to take long to capture some amazing, intimate images of the bride and groom.

These can be done during the reception and only take 10-15 minutes. Usually the perfect time is when the dinner is done and people are taking a break to use the washroom, smoke or as the venue is turning over from dinner to dance. We quietly escape to either a quiet outdoor spot at the venue or a very close location of your choice. 

These are usually some of the favourite images from the day capturing the emotion between the new husband and wife. Let me know if you would like to discuss the option of adding these images onto your reception package at no additional cost depending on the timeframe.

If you do decide to do sweetheart photos, planning your way back into the reception venue can add a little extra magic to your reception. We can have your wedding party there to add some magic to the moment and capture it as it unfolds. Sparklers are the perfect way once the sun is setting to add mood and magic. Or bubbles when you are walking back into the building. Inquire for this addition at a small fee to be included in your sweetheart session.

Bubble machines and hand held mini bubble wands handed out as you are reentering the venue after your sweetheart photos make for not only an epic entrance but for amazing photos. Our team will coordinate handing out bubbles to guests and have them ready to blow bubbles as you re-enter the hall.
